Dear readers, it is unsual in this blog to address topics other than IT, Cloud and Business Strategy. Sometimes the circumstances of life force you, even for a while, to focus on something else. I had to introduce to you, to those interested in humanitarian actions, a wonderful woman, Aurelia Mombey, President of EDUCARE+, a not-for-profit non-governmental organization, located in Libreville Gabon (Middle-west Africa).
My next article to be published by end of this month will be about how to take advantage of Amazon Web Services (AWS) to equip businesses with Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) capabilities.
Contrary to the widespread belief, especially in environments where Afro-pessimism is the rule of law, a certain Africa, the one concerned with the general interest, is moving forward, seeking solutions through clear visions of the path to follow that will take africans out of their current conditions.
Aurelia Mombey, like me, originates from Glass, southern suburb of Libreville, Gabon. She demonstrates in a memorable inteview that there are ways, simpler, inexpensive and above all pragmatic to provide immediate answers to people expectations and accelerate our countries development.
THE BOTTOM LINE OF THE HUMANITARIAN ACTIONS IS TO ACCELERATE COUNTRIES DEVELOPMENT
Auralia’s vision, a skill that is sorely lacking in a certain Gabonese elite, supports the idea that humanitarian for the sake of humanitarian does not make sense, helping children through school support in the broader sense must emphasize the development of our countries.
INSIGHT AND FORESIGHT SUPPORTED BY A PRAGMATIC APPROACH THAT SHOULD INSPIRE SOME OF THE AFRICAN INTELLECTUALS AND LEADERS
In a very articulated prose, structured, sign of a well-thought communication strategy, she sets out the ingredients of a pragmatic approach which contrasts with the “adventurist” speech, evasive, sometimes empty and most importantly pompous of a number of political actors in Gabon.
Through a well-thought field work, Aurelia and her team, meet the ignored talents across Gabon, defy the persistent superstitions, obscurantisms and other factors that are actual obstacles to our countries development, persuades through direct contacts with the unique objective to get the maximu of children in full-time education.
She thinks critically about the persistent obscurantism in our countries and do not hesitate to point them out as the factors that hinder the development of our countries.
VERY PROUD OF YOU …
I am very proud of her work and I think hundreds and hundreds of people in Gabon. The vision she brilliantly exposes in the video is very fair and is a sign that things are moving forward in our countries.
I publish this article along with the video to get her work known in the world.Aurelia my message to you is, keep your moral integrity, preserve the sincerity of your commitment and especially preserves your intellectual honesty, it is real.
These kids are realluy lucky to have you on their side !!!
